Simplify your life with the Minska biowaste reducer! Minska makes it easy to sort, reduce and transform your daily food waste, without any fuss and at home, with or without a garden.
Minska automatically reduces all your food waste by around 85% in 4 to 8 hours, turning it into dry, odourless shavings. This reduces the volume of your rubbish bins, eliminates odours and other nuisances associated with the decomposition of organic waste, and does your bit for the planet. Less waste and shavings that can be used as natural fertiliser!
Minska helps you to :
- Increase comfort in the kitchen
- Eliminate the nuisance caused by the presence of decomposing organic food in the bin (odours, drips and other undesirable substances) or in the compost.
- Reduce the volume of organic waste in your bins by around 85% and create a natural fertiliser
All you have to do is :
- Fill the tank as you go along with food waste: the tank is removable and has a capacity of 3 litres, i.e. ~600g of waste per cycle.
- Lock the lid and start the automatic cycle (in 3 stages: drying / grinding / cooling) to obtain dry residues in 4 to 8 hours.
Each cycle consumes just 1.5 kWh on average, or around €0.26* the equivalent of a dishwasher cycle (* Source: in-house laboratory tests).
The result is dry, odourless shavings that can be :
- deposited in local collection bins or compost bins
- Used to fertilise your vegetable patch, garden, window boxes and indoor plants
- added to your compost without fear of attracting pests (Minska dries and shreds meat or food waste, so unwanted guests are not attracted by the smell or the decomposing matter)
- or simply thrown in your rubbish bin
A wide range of food waste can be entrusted to Minska as you prepare your meals: fruit and vegetable scraps and peelings, seeds and cereals, eggshells, small bones, fish, cheese, yoghurt, cakes, coffee grounds, tea bags, flowers, leaves, etc.
Minska is fitted with just 1 activated carbon filter. It’s easy to refill.
Its minimalist design makes cleaning easy and effortless.
The tank is removable and dishwasher safe.
If some residue remains stuck to the bottom of the tank after the waste reduction cycle, a self-cleaning function can be used.
